Fiscal Sponsorship

What is a Fiscal Sponsorship?

A fiscal sponsorship is a legal arrangement in which a nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status supports another group or project that aligns with its mission. This allows the sponsored organization to receive tax-deductible donations and access grant funding without having to establish its own tax-exempt status.

Through fiscal sponsorship, we support organizations and initiatives that align with our mission, enabling them to make a difference in their communities while ensuring responsible financial management.

Why is Fiscal Sponsorship Important?

  • Facilitates Fundraising – Donors can contribute tax-deductible donations, making fundraising more effective.
  • Expands Impact – Enables smaller organizations to focus on their mission without the administrative burden of tax compliance.
  • Strengthens Collaboration – Fosters partnerships and shared goals within the nonprofit sector.
  • Ensures Financial Accountability – The sponsoring nonprofit oversees fund allocation, ensuring transparency and compliance with regulations.

HOGA - USA

We proudly serve as the fiscal sponsor for Harford Old Girls Association (HOGA-USA). This partnership allows HOGA-USA to fund its mission of supporting Harford School for Girls in Moyamba, Sierra Leone, while ensuring full compliance with nonprofit regulations.

This collaboration strengthens both organizations, expanding opportunities for education and community impact.
